Studying Bone-Tendon and Bone-Ligament Biology and Mechanobiology
Our goal is to discover new knowledge that informs musculoskeletal tissue engineering. This includes a wide array of topics on the biology and mechanobiology of bone-tendon and bone-ligament tissues and involves the development of tools and simplistic models that facilitate the study of these complex processes.

Musculoskeletal Tissue Engineering
Our goal is to engineer new biomaterials that address clinical challenges and improve treatment of bone-tendon and bone-ligament injuries. This involves the development of materials with tunable mechanical properties that spatially control musculoskeletal differentiation to facilitate restoration of joint function and promote tissue healing.
